About Living For God curriculum
Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations …teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you…” – Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV).
Though salvation starts at conversion, it is a life long journey of discipleship. So when children believe in Jesus to be saved, it is not an end in itself but the beginning of living for God. Saved children need to be taught God’s Word on what to know and do to live for God.
The objectives of Living For God curriculum are to teach the children to understand who they are and learn what they need to do to live as believers. The goal of this exciting Bible-based curriculum is simply to get the children to live for God daily. It is hoped that the children will make the application of these teachings become an integral part of their lives.
Living For God curriculum (a follow-up on Believe In Jesus curriculum) is made of 13 lessons including topics such as Holy Spirit, Prayer, Forgiveness, Friendship, Service, etc.
Revisions to the Living for God curriculum and Living For God Preschool curriculum are upcoming projects similar to the Believe In Jesus curriculum.
These revisions will reflect the hallmark of the Set Apart Curriculums: exciting Bible-based curriculums teaching children to live for God. Though core Biblical truths of the curriculum will remained the same, other content modifications will be made to improve the flow of the lessons. Different engaging Word-based activities will be added to aid in the teaching the lessons while still retaining its simplicity in layout.
